Studying is an essential skill that lasts a lifetime. We teach our students a variety of study methods and we work to identify the most effective approaches for each student individually.  We involve parents to hone in on effective methods so that students begin learning better sooner.

We teach our students not only how to study, but also how to be resourceful, how to ask investigative questions, and how to review information through critical thinking. We encourage our students to explore multiple approaches to difficult problems; we challenge our students to test their understanding and to reinforce areas of uncertainty; and most of all, we remind our students to return to the basics when in doubt. By adhering to several core principles, our students become empowered and self-sufficient — and that is a skill that they will take with them through their lifetimes.
